    I am an avid reader and have started quite a few books of late that I couldn't finish. Usually don't even finish the free samples. That being said, I loved this book. It had a terrific mystery that there was no guessing, likeable characters, ghosts and a good plot to tie it all together. No unnecessary page after page of descriptions (my unfavorite). It kept me engaged the whole time. If you spend the $1.99 to read it and don't enjoy it, look me up and I'll give you five bucks😉

    Spotted this book out of the corner of my eye just by the picture on the dust cover. This was a one-sit read or maybe I just couldn't put it down. As I was nearing the end I began reading slower and slower. I didn't want it to end! I should tell you that I'm a lover of Charleston and it's history, so it was great to revisit a city I haven't been to in a very long time and the way this book reads I feel as though I've just been on a short vacation there and maybe even learned a little more about this charming place. Miss Karen White, thank you so much!

    If you are someone who loves Charleston and the south this book will take you there for the weekend! We will never be Charlestonians! I dream of walks on Charlestons streets and what lies behind the fences.... this is a peek inside the house on Tradd street and all of its secrets. Is it predictable? A little, yes. ...but not totally predictable! an easy read and fun characters --a perfect January getaway on a snowy Midwest day.

    I was hooked from the first page! The author writes so wonderfully that the characters just jump off the pages - along with the way she describes all the rich history of the house and years of family members that have been there. I found myself turning each page to unravel the secrets along with the characters - a must read! I didn't even hesitate to buy the other two books "The Girl on Teague Street" and "The Strangers on Montague Street"!!
